Alma

ALMA is a collaborative project that seeks to generate a space for transhumanist and xenofeminist reflection on the development of artificial intelligence, focusing on its construction as a sentient or emotional being. During this node, we will speculate on the alternative reality of ALMA through reflection and transdisciplinary artistic practice. We want to continue working on the ontological questions that run through this project, such as: if technological devices develop a certain level of self-awareness, will they be able to experience processes similar to human emotions? How would this affect our relationship with technology and our understanding of what it means to be conscious?
