¿Por qué has corrido tan lejos?

There is something that goes back and at the same time moves forward in Chaile's works. Movement provides the continuity in his works; they move between dierent times. In the permanence and changing forms that he makes his own, Chaile transforms absences into new presences. His works are not only images, they can also cook, transport, give warmth. For Chaile, art is a field of luminous irradiation and at the same time a mystery between matter and people. He shapes, repeats, ritualises. He proposes an approach to art linked to dierent dimensions of life, as it was for pre-colonial peoples and it remains so in what is known as craftwork.
