The AGIFES association, with the aim of achieving normalization and integration of people with mental functional diversity into the community, has been visiting Medialab on Thursdays since 2020. The purpose of these visits is to play with part of the library's board game collection, which is specifically and carefully selected for the group. Through gameplay, they aim to explore not only the recreational aspects of the games but also elements related to perception, strategy, and motor skills.
However, Medialab is also a creative space, and leveraging this, we organize sessions and workshops for them to learn various techniques. On other occasions, we have collaborated to support and provide infrastructure for the group's projects. For example, a video with Christmas songs was recorded in the studio, and in preparation for spring, participants learned how to print on t-shirts and tote bags using screen printing techniques. We maintain close contact with AGIFES representatives, offering space and resources for the association's initiatives.
