Ainhoa Artetxe (Bilbao, 1993) studied Dramatic Arts at Estudio Corazza in Madrid (2012-2017), and is also trained in directing, scriptwriting, and clown performance. As an actress, she has participated in various television series such as ‘Patria’, ‘La línea invisible’, ‘Hondar ahoak’, and the web series ‘Pikuak’. Her theatre career has included pieces such as ‘Tratando de hacer una obra que cambie el mundo’, ‘La maniobra Heimlich’, and ‘¿Qué fue de Ana García?’. Artetxe has also worked on numerous short films, video clips, and performances. 

As a creator and director, Artetxe wrote and directed the series ‘NORMALA’ from Neuke Produkzioak, a series of short films from a gender perspective, and created the online miniseries ‘Miren Gotzone’ from home during the lockdown. In terms of theatre, Artetxe created and acted in Winona&Grace, the latest piece from Khea Ziater, which continues to be performed in more than 25 theatres.

Among her most recent work, of particular note is Icíar Bollaín’s most recent film ‘Maixabel’ and the upcoming series ‘Itxaso’ from Eitb and Mediapro.

She is currently in a joint writing process for her next theatre piece ‘Mother Ma’, and is developing her EUTSI GOIARI series project based on her own life experiences and those of her generation for 2deo serieak 2023.
