Alejandra Pomo Su (Santiago de Compostela, 1979). PhD in Fine Arts with a thesis on the paradoxes of introducing the notion of performance in contemporary art, her artistic work moves between plastic, audiovisual and performance arts. She awarded at the 1st call for Artistic Residencies FMJJ 2021 and was chosen as a resident artist at Bulegoa z/b (Bilbao), I-Park Foundation (Connecticut, USA), Atlantic Center for the Arts (Florida, USA), PACT-Zollverein (Essen, Germany), La Casa Encendida, CA2M and Ranchito in Matadero Madrid, among others. Her work has been presented at different festivals, museums and art centres such as the Queen Sofía, Fabra i Coats, La Casa Encendida or MUSAC. Since 2021 she is a member of the NEG (Nova Escultura Galega) collective.
