Alex Reynolds' artistic practice revolves around the relationships between film language and its elements (sound, rhythm, outside the field, conflict, tension). These elements speak to one another, but not necessarily according to the traditional logic which the viewer expects of them. The viewer, indeed, is an essential element of his work, and questions it through films, performances, texts, or sound pieces, to explore new ways of relating to storytelling, questioning preconceived expectations.

Alex Reynolds (Bilbao, 1978) lives and works between Brussels and Berlin. He graduated in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. His work has been exhibited at important museums, galleries and international festivals of contemporary art, such as the Sogn og Fjordane Kunstmuseum (Norway), the FID Marseille (France), the Koldo Mitxelna and Tabakalera (San Sebastian), the Komplot (Belgium), the CA2M (Madrid), the Las Palmas International Film Festival, the MITE (Argentina), the DA2 (Salamanca), the Music Festival (Suedia) or the Barcelona Foundation).
