Amaia Urzain

Amaia Urzain (Mondragon, 1980) is a nomadic educator in the field of the artistic education. She tries to create contexts and projects (HAT, 2010; VACA, 2012) that make other experiences possible with the art and with the education. She is employed as teacher at the Initial Formation of the Professorship (HUHEZI-MU; EU-EHU) of Infantile and Primary Education, with the challenge of touching the school. Her step along different museums (Guggenheim Bilbao, Artium, Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, Museo del Barrio, Sala Kubo-Kutxa) and the meeting with passionate people, have pushed her to want to continue exploring this field.
