Amparo Lasén

Amparo Lasén is a Professor of Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid and is member of the Sociología Ordinaria research group www.sociologiaordinaria.com. Lasén received her Doctorate from La Sorbonne in Paris, and was a researcher at the Centre d’Etudes de l’Actuel et le Quotidien (CEAQ) Paris V, the London School of Economics, and the Digital World Research Centre at the University of Surrey (UK). Her main areas of research are the study of uses, practices, and the presence of digital communication and information technologies (mobile, social media, digital photography) in terms of its participation in the contemporary configurations of subjectivities and emotions.
