Ana de Almeida

Ana de Almeida is an artist and researcher from Lisbon, currently living and working in Vienna. Her practice addresses memory processes and their different levels of responsibility in processes of subjectivation; conscious and subconscious narrative constructions and plurispatial and multilayered narratives in general. She is a member of VBKÖ, of the artists’ collective , a member and co-founder of the Interndinner collective against precarization of work in the cultural field. Ana de Almeida is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts of Vienna and Junior Fellow at the IFK - International Research Centre for Cultural Studies.
