Ángela Millano (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1987). A graduate in Philosophy from Complutense University of Madrid, with professional training in contemporary dance at RPCD Mariemma, and Master's Degree in Arts Practice and Visual Culture from the University of Alcalá and Museo Reina Sofía, in collaboration with La Casa Encendida and Matadero Madrid.

Hogar (2017-2018) and Nunca llevo falda porque no sé cruzar las piernas (2015- 2016) are her last two works. Albeit from different angles - one from the need to understand death and life as a continuum and the other from the rage produced by established and normative ideas about sex and gender - both projects deal with the question: how do we understand, catalogue, manage and legislate our bodies (human bodies) in our society? They were developed with the help of the Basque Government's 2015 and 2016 choreographic creation funding, and the support of the Instituto Cervantes (Berlin), La Casa Encendida, Sala Pradillo, Dock 11 Berlín, Leal Lav, Histeria Kolektiboa and Sala Baratza, among others.
