Texto Destacado
Bitterness. Ecologies of hops is a proposal inspired by pharmacopeias, books containing compilations of medicinal recipes where specific vegetal agents are exposed, alongside their properties, composition and modes of preparation. Building on this format of archiving and codifying the active principles of plants - between the real and the imaginary - the creation of a treaty on bitterness is proposed, developing an investigation on hops (Humulus lupulus) through the recompilation, visualisation and creation of objects, recipes, aesthetics, imaginaries and materials that can serve to archive and reflect on its politics of production, consumption and harvest.
