Second workshop for the creation of a space for young boys and girls to experiment. In the previous one – Interlocked games– we worked with mechanical elements. This time we shall delve into the world of architecture and construction.
We shall experiment with different types of beams and rods, to create spatial structures with them. During the process we shall try different materials and techniques, we shall see how to put together tri-dimensional forms and spatial structures, and we shall analyse the types of knots and bolts they require.
The aim of these workshops is to offer young boys and girls the tools for the creation of projects. In the course of several sessions we shall work on different themes with a view to having them later applied in different projects.
We are going to immerse ourselves in the world of architecture by creating construction toys. We shall experiment with different types of beams and rods, to create spatial structures with them.
