Chantal Peñalosa's intervention

Within the framework of the Mugak/Fronteras project, Mexican artist Chantal Peñalosa explores the notion of limit as an element of everyday nature for those who, like her, live on the border. Peñalosa was born and lives in Tecate, a town on the most crossed border in the world, the one between Mexico and the United States. The artist proposes to transfer events of everyday life of that border to the Basque border, in order to rethink the notion of frontier, from different standpoints and points of view.
