Dora García

 

Dora García is an artist and teacher. After living in Brussels for almost twenty years, she is now based in Barcelona. She has participated in a variety of international exhibitions, such as the Venice Biennial in 2011 (national pavilion, with the project Lo Inadecuado), in 2013 (Monaco pavilion, with The Joycean Society project) and in 2015 (international exhibition, with The Sinthome Score project); Documenta 13 in 2012 (Klau Mich project); and Munster Sculpture Projects in 2007 (with The Beggar’s Opera project). She teaches at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and the HEAD school in Geneva, and is a member of the PEI faculty in Barcelona. In 2018 she exhibited at MNCARS (Madrid), ProjecteSD (Barcelona), Trondheim Kunstmuseum (Norway), and Tensta and Bonniers Konsthall, both in Stockholm.
