Elena Casado Aparicio (Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, 1967) is a lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid and a member of the Sociología Ordinaria group. An educational enthusiast, she coordinates the Salud y Sociedad (Health and Society) project, linked to the course that she teaches at the School of Nursing. Her research lines are linked to care, gender relations and the sociology of communication.
