Elena López Lanzarote

Elena López Lanzarote is an illustrator from Valencia. She studied sculpture, stage design and fine arts in Valencia, Porto and Barcelona.

Her work has been published in several magazines including Agapornis and Trevista and has been exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid and LA.

In 2013 she set up the publishing house Lentejas Press which specialises in risograph printing. There, she self-published her work and that of other artists working with drawing, design and the visual arts.

She currently lives and works in Barcelona where she combines her work as an illustrator with teaching. She delivers the self-publishing and printing systems module at Idep Bcn and also runs workshops on fanzines, drawing and printmaking techniques in schools such as Pau Gargallo in Badalona and the LCI Design School in Barcelona.
