Eurídice Cabañes

Co-director of ARSGAMES. Eurídice Cabañes has a PhD from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She teaches at various universities in Spain and Mexico. She has more than 50 publications to her name, including the book “El aprendizaje en juego”, and has given more than 100 conferences in Asia, Europe, Australia, North America and Latin America. She was founder and director of the Fábrica Digital El Rule (now the Laboratorio de Tecnologías) of the CDMX Secretariat of Culture, collaborator with the CENART Multimedia Centre, and curator of exhibitions including “Video games: the two sides of the screen” for the Fundación Telefónica in 2019, which received more than 100,000 visitors. She designs video games that experiment with the interface such as Audiogames, experimental games such as Homozzaping, which has been part of exhibitions in Colombia, Spain and Mexico, and independent video games such as Grotto, winner of the first prize of the Programme for Innovation in Video Game Development in Spain and published as a Humble Original.
