A landscape set on the coast of Gotland (Sweden) builds the universe of Eventide. The camera, installed in a static shot, witnesses the last minutes of daylight before darkness sets in. While we imagine the immensity of the planet earth spinning on itself, we observe individuals searching for something unknown to us. Together, these bodies move, drawing a choreography of searching. The torches of their mobiles probe the ground, tracing multiple drifts. Between light and darkness, a collective question is posed. The film, like a painting, opens up to the multiple points of view of the gaze. As it gets darker, the rain of the Perseids invades the sky.
