Felipe Gálvez

Felipe Gálvez (1983, Chile) is a director, screenwriter and editor living in Paris. His first film, LOS COLONOS (2023), had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the official section Un Certain Regard, where it won the FIPRESCI award for Best Film of the contest. The film was chosen by the Chilean Film Academy to represent the country for the 2024 Oscars in the category of Best International Film. LOS COLONOS also participated in the festivals of Toronto, San Sebastián, Tokyo and New York, among others, winning numerous awards throughout their career.
