Fernando Palma is an artists, writer and critic. In his studies he combined industrial engineering and electro-mechanics with studies in robotic sculpture and art history. Influenced by the work of the artist Jimmie Durham, from 1994 to the present day he has taken part in numerous one-man shows and collective exhibitions in several cities in Europe and the United States, including most recently: Rights of Nature: art and ecology in the Americas, Nottingham Contemporary, United Kingdom 2015; Unsettled Landscapes, SITE Santa Fe Biennial, Santa Fe New Mexico, USA 2014; ...amotla otlacualacac oncan tlanahuatiz quename ye huitz quiahuitl...mocualnezacayotl ...lightning didn’t flash to announce that it was going to rain... your beauty. He has contributed as a critic to the magazine, Third Text, in London and his work can be found in private collections in the US, Europe and Mexico and in museums, MUAC (Mexico) and the Heide Museum of Fine Art (Australia).
