[Film Not Found_Try Again] is a photographic project born from an earlier version; it is an original idea by Marina Palacio carried out with those closest to her and which now, four years later, is once again possible thanks to the participation of several people either from the departments of the San Sebastian Festival or who belong to the film industry and therefore have connections to the event.
The project consists of the invention, creation and design of false film posters which, by manipulating images and the text, convey the reality (in whole or part) of their protagonists, who also talk about themselves in short texts occupying the place usually reserved for the credits.
Once the project has been transferred to the sphere of the San Sebastian Film Festival, those portrayed, members of the least visible part of its structure, will become the protagonists of posters for films that never have and never will exist, meaning that they can contain thousands of stories at once.
Parallel to this, endeavouring to reach at least one of these possible stories, Jesús Palacio collaborates with his daughter to accompany each poster with a short story to read online.
What better than the Festival’s 70th anniversary to pay homage, through these occasional actors and actresses who now place themselves before the camera, to the hundreds of people who, beyond the spotlight, have played an essential role in keeping Zinemaldia running so smoothly year after year?
