Galerna

Conceptualisation and exhibition of the Galerna project (for the November 2020 exhibition in the Kutxa Artegunea room in Tabakalera). The Galerna photography project takes an intimate look at the Basque people over a ten-year period (2007-2017). Using black and white photography, the project tends towards abstraction and becomes more personal to provide a subjective and emotional interpretation of nature. Galerna thus becomes an aesthetic experience of the earth – lur in Basque – from a maternal perspective; the earth as mother nature. The idea of origin is one of the main lines of questioning.
