Garazi Navas

(Usansolo, 1995) is a restless accordionist and recent Musikene graduate who, despite her young age, has taken part in a multitude of projects (even playing with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra) and received many awards. In this project, she combines various works by contemporary composers with traditional pieces of diverse origins to provide a personal interpretation of the close relationship which she feels exists between cutting-edge and traditional music. The project also showcases both facets of the accordion, which are rarely seen at the same time.
