This workshop given by an artist for other artists consists of repeating a series of works of art by other artists with the aim of living other people's experiences and reflections on ways of doing things and understanding the world around us. We will repeat works by artists such as Jiří Kovanda, Roman Ondák, Francis Alÿs, Iván Argote etc.
This workshop is part of the European CAPP programme ( Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme). CAPP is a research network around collaborative art and the proliferation of such practices. As collaborative art practice we understand a creative process that is shared between an artist or institution and a community or a non-artistic group and that follows the idea of a joint authorship. CAPP aims to promote reflection on these practices in contemporary art as well as to offer artists a structure to facilitate their work with communities.
