Ignacio Córdoba

Ignacio Córdoba’s work ranges from free jazz and free improvisation to the first electronic traditions. Ignacio brings La Caja an old industrial machine that plays with time as our memory does: stretching it, slowing it down and accelerating it, making it disappear and appear a little different each time it returns. Distant and hypnotic as a black hole, he uses it to take us to underwater sounds, bubbling atmospheres and the melancholic singing of sirens. His project has been active since 2011, with two self-released records, cassettes published by
MAGIA and Punctum, concerts throughout Spain and 6 European tours in 17 countries and one in Japan.
