Isabell Lorey

Isabell Lorey is a lecturer at the University of Kassel. She has given classes in feminism and political and postcolonial theory at the universities of Basel, Berlin and Vienna. A member of the European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies (eipcp), she sits on the editorial council for the series Transversal Texts. She has published pieces on precarious work, social movements and democracy in different international journals. A Spanish translation of her latest work, State of Insecurity. Government of the Precarious was recently published by Traficantes de Sueños (2016), with a foreword by Judith Butler.
