New commission
Izaro Ieregi Gonzalez will develop a performative intervention for the exhibition. Interested in the fleeting, the ephemeral and the impermanent, she departs from a masculine notion of an erect, vertical, subject to rearticulate unstable states as privileged sites of queer performativity. Thematising gravity as a notion that invites poetic reflections on falling, and by extension on failure, Ieregi Gonzalez will attempt to articulate ways of world-making that embrace, rather than resist, the fragility of our existence.
