Jan Matheu & Victor Alonso-Berbel

Jan Matheu (1992) and Victor Alonso-Berbel (1993) graduated from Universidad Pompeu Fabra with degrees in Audiovisual Communication. Their first full-length documentary, The Brave Class, (2016), was nominated for Best Documentary at the Gaudí Awards.

They have worked as screenwriters for Atresmedia Studios and Movistar+, and developed the fictional series Flanagan together with Mediapro. Belén Atienza and Sandra Hermida are the producers of Moderación, their first full-length work of fiction, in development after having been selected for the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Artist Residency programme.

Following the death of her boyfriend, Sofía takes on his identity as a rider to find out who’s responsible, uncovering a criminal plot and leading her to question everything she knew about him and herself.
