Jaume Navarro, Ikerbasque Research Professor at the University of the Basque Country. Educated in Physics and Philosophy, Jaume dedicates himself to researching the history of science, particularly the history of physics, historical developments and perceptions of the notion of “science”, and the histories around the relationships between science and religion. Jaume has been a researcher at the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, the University of Exeter, and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin. He has published numerous research articles and books through publishers such as Cambridge and the Oxford University Press. More recently, Jaume has published his book Ciencia-Religión y sus Tradiciones Inventadas. Un Recorrido Historiográfico (‘Science-Religion and their Invented Traditions. A Historiographic Journey’. Tecnos, 2022) in which he explores the relationships between science, religion, and nationalism.
