Descripcion
Jennifer Levonian is an artist based Philadelphia. She creates cut-paper animations that explore everyday life by focusing on things which go unnoticed and transforming them into bizarre narratives. Her work has been exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, D.C.; the Asheville Museum of Art; the Telfair Museum; and the Contemporary Museum in Baltimore. In 2009, she was awarded a Pew Fellowship in the Arts.
Xylophone was awarded with the Best Film prize at the 55 Ann Arbor Film Festival (Michigan, USA).
