Jone Amezaga

Jone Amezaga, a dancer from Donostia-San Sebastian, started dancing at Maite Fagoaga’s academy in Donostia-San Sebastian, until joining the José Uruñuela Municipal Dance Conservatory in Vitoria-Gasteiz to study classical dance.

In 2014 she became a member of the Dantzaz Konpañia troupe, with which she worked for three years, learning different choreographic languages and creators; among them Jone San Martin.

Starting in 2018 she continued working in different troupes and artistic projects: as a performer "Penélope" by Los Días de Penélope / Ingrid Madrinyá (2018, Zaragoza), a member of the Basque troupe Mugmus Laborategia (2016-2021), working for troupes in Donostia-San Sebastian such as NODE and LASALA, and for the troupe from Vitoria-Gasteiz Teatro Paraíso, working as a performer in two shows for small children ("Ehuna" 2019, "Ventanas" 2021).

In 2020, alongside the percussionist from Donostia-San Sebastian Manu Gaigne Beobide, she started the process of her own creation called "ZERBAIT.NOIZBAIT.NONBAIT", which has only been shown in small shows up until now.
