Jose Mari Zabala

In the work of Jose Mari Zabala (Irun, 1949) we find different artistic formats: painting, drawing, photography, cinema and audiovisual expressions and audio productions. He was a member of the group Ez Dok Amairu, among others, and his first film, made in 1975, was shown at the Venice Biennale.  In 2016, the Carreras Múgica gallery (Bilbao) brought together the work that he produced between 1986 and 2016, in an exhibition curated by Leire Vergara.
