Juan Righetti

Founder and director of Upcycling Bottles

Juan Righetti, through training, demonstrations and workshops, seeks to generate a positive impact on the environment and society, democratising work on glass, an apparently complicated material that we are not used to handling. With his Upcycling Bottles project, he transforms glass bottles into imaginative, decorative or functional design objects, using techniques such as cutting, polishing, sandblasting and fusing. His workshop is located in l'Empordà, Catalonia. 

He has collaborated with the Roca Recicla project of El Celler de Can Roca to create different artistic pieces, and with whom he has offered a workshop at Tabakalera in 2020.
