Karlos Martinez has completed advanced studies in graphic arts and design and history-geography. He has received several scholarships and awards, performing both individual and collective projects and exhibitions in Bilbao, Manchester, Leipzig, Córdoba (Argentina), Montevideo, Barcelona and Algiers. His latest exhibitions include Historias Incomparables at the Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea exhibition hall (San Sebastián 2013), Abwehr Waldrand, held at the Lisi Hämmerle Gallery on the occasion of the Bilbao Arte Foundation/Kunsthaus Bregenz scholarship exchange in Vorarlberg (Austria 2014), the exhibition for the 2015 “Generación” awards at La Casa Encendida (Madrid 2015) and Plataforma Revólver (Lisbon 2015) or Les effets de la vie en groupe in the exhibition gallery of the Bilbao Arte Foundation (Bilbao 2016).
