Kimia Kamvari

Kimia Kamvari (Cologne, 1986) has a degree in painting from the Azad University of Art and Architecture in Tehran and a master's degree in Art Research and Creation from the UPV-EHU.

Since 2015 she has been living and working in Astigarreta, a small town in the interior of Gipuzkoa. His works go from figurative painting to an increasingly conceptual look that explores new formats and materials. Proof of this are his latest exhibitions Apeiron (Dastan Gallery, 2018), Nature Change (Fundación Cristina Enea, 2019), Event Horizon (Dastan Gallery, 2019) and Alef (San Telmo Museoa, 2022).
