Lander Calvelhe studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where he also took a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and Education: a Constructionist Approach. During this period, he met and shared with beloved educators such as Aida Sánchez de Serdio, Carla Padró, Fernando Hernández, Amaia Urzain and Imanol Aguirre He worked with the latter at the Public University of Navarre, among other things, on his thesis Adolescentes gays y cultura visual: Experiencias, usos y contextos. Implicaciones educativas (Gay Teens and Visual Culture: Experiences, Contexts and Usages. Educational Implications), co-directed by Gerard Coll-Planas. He left traditional activism when he came into contact with different lines of meditation through dance and the music. Currently, he is working in non-formal educational spaces with children aged 4 to 8, in addition to university teacher training.
