The project was born in 2019 in Barcelona, by Guillem Jiménez (Barcelona, 1999), with the first short-format stage piece THE UNCANNY VALLEY (2019). In 2020 the collective MARICAS MARICAS commissions during their 2nd anniversary the creation of a second short performance piece, THE LESSON (2020) presented in the space TKM ROOM (Barcelona), and was reprogrammed in the same space together with the exhibition CLASSMATES (2020). In 2021 Dance Lawyer and Isabel Eatherly commission the video-performance UNTILTE (2021) for the digital exhibition BURNT, RADIANT, SCROLLING presented at Brooklying, NY. In 2022 they present at CCCB (Barcelona) in collaboration with Dansa Metropolitana , the first large-scale stage production, ACLUCALLS (2022). From it derives the work CÀSULA ACLUCALLS (2022) in which versions of the piece are created for non-conventional spaces. During 2021 theSADCUM worked as resident colective at La Caldera (Barcelona) and at Centre Cívic Barceloneta (Barcelona). Subsequently, the exhibition TWINK TWINK TWINK TWINK (2022) opened at aula46 (Barcelona). At the same time, a whole educational and curatorial programme was developed in different spaces such as CCCB, Graner, Centre Cívic Barceloneta or Espai la Granja, together with the workshop DANCE THE INTERNET (2022). In 2022 were residents at Graner (Barcelona) in the Emerging Artists Modality. In 2023 they entered as residents at Fabra i Coats in Barcelona, L'Estruch in Sabadell and El Corralito x TNT in Terrassa, to develop their new production NAVAJA (2024), a project premiered in Paral-lel 62 (Barcelona) within the festival Dansa Metropolitada and co-produced by it. Their works have been seen in venues and contexts such as Eatros del Canal, Guggeenheim Museum of Bilbao, La Mutant, Centre de Cultura Contemporanea de Barcelona, San Andreu Teatre, La Capella, Dansa Valencia, La Casa Encendida, Dansa Metropolitana, Mercé Arts de Carrer Festival, Teatre El Musical, Madrid en Danza, Sala Apolo, Festival Terrassa Noves Tendencies, Teatre Alegria, among others.
