Leire Albinarrate (Vitoria-Gasteiz) is a screenwriter. She graduated in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Carlos III University and completed her training with a Master's Degree in Screenwriting at Chapman University (California) thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship.
She has experience in scriptwriting teams for series (‘Perverso’, Prime Video and ‘Ángela’, ATRESPLAYER) and feature films (‘El molino’, premiered at the Malaga Festival and winner of the Audience Award at the Santander 2024 Festival).
She has also worked on R&D for non-fiction projects, which has combined with personal projects in the audiovisual and theatrical fields. Among these, the series project ‘La Mala Vida en Madrid’ stands out, developed in Residencias de la Academia de Cine and winner of the ALMA and Triodos Awards in Conecta Fiction.
