Leire Lacunza Miranda (Donostia, 1996). She studied Fine Arts and completed a Master's Degree in Painting at UPV/EHU and attended Itziar Okariz and Jon Mikel Euba's Artists' Workshop (Tabakalera). In 2019 she carried out a six-month artistic residency at the Shangyuan Art Museum in Beijing and in 2021 she was awarded a scholarship by BilbaoArte in the Residency and assignment of studies category.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including: AMP XXVIII ZAURIA/LESIÓN at Okela Sormen Lantegia (Bilbao), PALADIN at Sala Bastero (Andoain) within the Eremuak HARRIAK programme, PINTURA MURAL at Palacio Horcasitas (Balmaseda), ZURE BEGIAK BESTEARENAK DIRA. TU REFLEJO ES EL MISMO at the Juntas Generales de Vizcaya (Bilbao), KEAK LUR HARTU DU at the Aire gallery (Bilbao) and HURRY MATTER at the Shangyuan Art Museum (Beijing).
She is currently carrying out theoretical and practical work within the doctoral programme of Research in Contemporary Art at the UPV/EHU.
