Luca Rullo was born in 1985 in Locarno (Switzerland). He studied computer engineering. He has been part of LaFundició and ACS (Associació Alternatives Computacionals per la Societat) linked to projects involving ICTs and social action. He is currently a member of the association dedicated to the culture of sound, Audio-lab and one of the driving forces behind the sound map project Soinumapa.

He works as a consultant and developer of projects involving the management of digital documentary archives for various museums in Gipuzkoa (Museum Cementos Rezola, Zumalakarregi Museum, EMMOA), the CICdB of LaFundicio, the archive of the European rural studies network Tramontana and the Radio France International project Écouter Le Monde.

He has carried out artistic actions linked to listening, art in everyday life and technology in the projects Llars de Creació (2013), Harimakila (2013), Post-paisatge (2014), Recerques (2015), Arkitektura Belarriz (2016), Ibaiak (2016), El Observatorio de la escucha (2016), Wild Word (2017), participating in a similar way in various group exhibitions.

In the field of sound/audiovisual work he has carried out projects as director of sound and sound recording for films such as Destruir y construir (2011), El somni dels herois (2014), Chillida, Lo profundo es el aire (2015), Ur artean (2015), Ay Virgencita! (2015), Últimas despedidas (2015), Ingobernables (2016), La cifra negra (2016), Colmenas (2016), Iragan Gunea (2016), Precious Moments (2016), and Ira (2017).
