Parallel to the collective construction of the archive about Tabakalera, we propose a public programme in which we shall ponder upon ways of making history and constructing memory. To do so, in these two sessions we will approach the archive as a possibility of political diction.

Researcher and educator Laura Trafí-Prats will talk about the pedagogy of listening and the ethics of care in relation to contemporary art.
- Other spaces-times to think about the production of subjectivity: Power of the common, feminist materialities and listening pedagogies
Hardt and Negri (2009) suggest the concept of power of the common for thinking about structures of interaction, production and affection beyond the logic of property. In this talk we will consider the power of the common from a feminist perspective focusing on everyday life, the body, work and affection (Ahmed, 2017). We will discuss historical changes in production embodied by the passage from factory to cultural centre in order to think about modes of production that activate the common through altermodern logic in the factory, cultural mediation, and the expository device. Finally, we will connect with the concept of listening pedagogy (Rinaldi, 2004) to address the relational, material and emotional character of listening in mediation. Listening pedagogy is practised in the midst of daily activity and develops modes of attention that accommodate dissonance, challenging the technique and chronological times of work and education, using aesthetics and the materiality of language in order to compose worlds consisting of modes that allow the production of alternative subjectivity.
