Maddi Barber

Maddi Barber (Valle de Arce, 1988) holds a BA in Audiovisual Communication and is studying for a Masters in Visual Anthropology from the University of Manchester. Her films have been screened at festivals such as Visions du Réel, San Sebastian (Zabaltegi), FidMarseille, Curtocircuito, Zinebi, Ji.hlava, Porto Post Doc, and Las Palmas; they have also been presented at the Artium Museum, Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, DA2 Domus Artium, Oteiza Museum, and La Panera. In 2018, she created the Pirenaika production company, which she used to produce her own work (Urpean Lurra 2019, Gorria 2020, Paraíso 2021) and that of other filmmakers.
