The day-to-day conversations between Marta and her mother become a tragic race against the clock after they receive a call from Marta's son.

Harold is a maladjusted youth who likes to go to funerals of people he doesn’t know. Maude is a 79-year-old woman who steals cars and lives surrounded by plants.
