Manuel Prados (Seville, 1981) is an artist and cultural producer. In his work he addresses fields such as archaeology, history, visual culture and music through research, audiovisual works, interventions and staged events. Manuel Prados has participated in projects and workshops run by artists and curators such as Antoni Muntadas, Ibon Aranberri, Cesare Pietroiusti, Valentín Roma and Pedro G. Romero. From 2005 to 2012 he was part of BNV Producciones, coordinating contemporary culture projects, among which the UNIA 'arteypensamiento' ('artandthinking') programme of the International University of Andalusia stands out.

In 2017 he was selected by the Iniciarte programme for the presentation of his project El espejo desenterrado (The unearthed mirror). In 2017 he was selected by the Iniciarte programme for his project El espejo desenterrado (The Unearthed Mirror), which charts the history of the pre-Hispanic obsidian mining industry in Meso-America and its relationship with the history of art from the 16th to 20th centuries. He is currently designing the catalogue for the exhibition A partir de fragmentos dispersos (From Dispersed Fragments) by the artist Susana Velasco in MUSAC.
