Margarita y el Lobo, Cecilia Bartolomé, Spain, 1983, 45’
Margarita faces an ecclesiastical judge. In the marital separation trial she faces, a Church judge establishes that there will only be separation of bodies and property; Marriage is for life. Throughout that busy day, we see what her past life has been like through fragmentary memories that are linked through musical numbers. They are the different “wolves' ' that have harassed her: from love and difficulties at work and in her personal life to the false liberation with a “progressive” lover, to end with the social promotion and integration to which it drags her. her husband and that causes the final breakup of the couple. Cecilia Bartolomé made this film as a final year internship at the Official School of Cinematography. Problems with the censorship of the time prevented her from starting her film career for several years. (FILMAFINITY)
Colloquium: At the end of the film we will have the opportunity to chat with Cecilia Bartolomé, along with Sara Hernández and Mireia Montané.
