 Marina Amores has a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UPF) and a master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary (Autonomous University of Barcelona), and currently lives in Barcelona. She has worked in media such as Eurogamer.es, PlayGround and in several companies in the video game sector such as UPlay Online, Melbot Studios and Barspin Studios. She is a video game journalist in physical magazines: SFX and EDGE Spain. She currently writes video game news for Mundo Deportivo. She is the author of several documentaries and is a specialist in video games and gender. She is the main organiser of Gaming Ladies, an event dedicated to the video game industry and exclusively for women. She is coordinator and co-author of ¡Protesto!, the first collection of essays in Spanish that address the video game from a gender perspective. Together with Marta Trivi is director of Nerfeadas, a documentary series on machismo in video games.
