Marseille, Angela Schanelec, Alemania, 2004, 95' 35mm, OV GER, Sub EN-ES
A young woman spends some time in Marseille before returning to Berlin. Her friend, a theatre actress who is overloaded by her daily life and the family, and her husband, a photographer, share a distant relationship without communication which continues until she returns to Marseille. However, the new beginning starts in a disappointing way. A reflection on loneliness and disorientation and the search for a place in life expressed in long and static scenes and precise visual compositions. The many omissions in the narrative require the creativity of a patient viewer, who must take advantage of the richness of the film, which is as precise as it is poetic.
