Thanks to its usual masterclass the 14th International Film Students Meeting offers the opportunity to learn first-hand the experience of two prominent film professional: Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson, producers, directors and writers who will give a masterclass to the young filmmakers. Together they will talk about their career and experience in the world with cinema.
Charlie Kaufman penned the screenplays of Being John Malkovich (1999), Human Nature (2001), Adaptation (2002), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). As a director, he is the author of Synecdoche, New York (2008).
Duke Johnson is a producer, director and writer. He has worked on television series (Moral Orel, Mar Shelley’s Frankenhole and Community) and is the author of two short films: Marrying God (2006) and Before Orel: Trust (2012).
