Matthieu Saladin

Matthieu Saladin is artist and researcher. His practice takes place in a conceptual approach.
He is interested in the production of spaces, the history of artistic forms and creative process, and in the relationships between art and society from a political and economic point of view. It takes the form of sound installations and performances as well as publications (books, records), videos and software. His work is represented by the gallery Salle Principale. He is associate professor in visual art at University Paris 8. His research as academic is mainly about sound art and experimental music. His book on Alvin Lucier, Le même et le différent, will be published in April 2022 by MF.
