Maya Amrane

degree in information sciences and communication from the University of Algiers, in 2002 arrives to Spain to study doctoral studies on peace and conflict at the university Jaume I of Castellón de la Plana and later on development and cooperation in the Basque public university. In parallel, it follows a formation in Social mediation and Intercultural education in this same university. Since 2006, he has worked in the field of social intervention, having specialized in the management of cultural diversity, the construction of coexistence and the fight against racism and discrimination. His interests are also focused on feminism and movements for equality between men and women, especially in Islamic contexts. He has worked in public services and private organizations.
